At about 20 o 'clock on March 27, 2018, Shanghai harbor was raided by a heavy fog. Visibility in the Yangtze river estuary is very poor, and Shanghai wusong maritime bureau launched the emergency plan to implement traffic control. As of 10:00 on March 31, the Shanghai section of the Yangtze river has been closed for 86 hours, and there are as many as 1550 vessels in the Shanghai area.

It is said to have been the longest in the last ten years and the largest backlog of ships, which has caused wide public concern.
